Kravis Lab for Social Impact, CARE and Berger Institute cordially invite you to apply for the CMC Women of Color “Story of Us” Fellowship for the 2019-2020 school year. This new fellowship will provide students with a reflective and insightful experience that will help them define their story, share their voice and create a call to action to cause positive change in the world.
The Fellowship commitment consists of a retreat near Joshua Tree during Fall break from Oct 20-22 that will focus on personal reflection, storytelling, and the celebration of one’s identity and experience. The retreat will be followed by two additional half-day interactive workshops on Nov 16 and Feb 1, to help them craft their stories and understand how their narratives connect and contribute to our community. The Fellow will then present their Ted-style talk sharing their personal journey at a special presentation in the Spring called WoC: Story of Us.
Application is due Sunday, September 29th, 2019 at 11:59 pm.
Interviews will be held on Thursday, October 3rd.
Applicants must commit to attending all 4 events.
